Anne DN spotted the first Holly Blue butterfly in her garden - the first to be reported in the Abingtons this year. Over the last week, the first Orange Tip butterfly was seen by Derek T on 6th, and the first Speckled Wood butterfly by Polly M on 9th. Several other sightings of all the above have been reported since.
