13th July 2025 - along the avenue on GP, Andy M spotted a couple of juvenile Green Woodpecker, probing around in the grass for ants, and investigating the cracks in the tree bark. These juveniles have a streaked breast (which the adults lack), and these two appeared to be one female, with the black spot below the eye, and one male, with red colouration within the black spot.
