23th May 2025 - the Rivercare team undertook their regular sampling from the river at the ford. Unusually, in this sampling session a number of Banded Demoiselle nymphs were found, as well as a Prong-gilled Mayfly larva - not creatures normally seen in our sample. Otherwise, things were much as usual. Many thanks to Ruth Hawksley at the Wildlife Trust for her help with the identification.
