11th August 2024 - Derek T spotted these three exuviae on the leaves protruding from his pond recently. These are the 'skin' left behind by the 'larval stage' of dragonfly species, which leave their aquatic pond life behind by crawling up a leaf, before splitting open and emerging as a winged adult dragonfly.
