10th May 2023 - a walk along the Old Railway Cutting revealed a good number of spring flowers today. The Cowslip were still putting on a good show, if fading somewhat in places, whereas the Hawthorn was largely poised, ready to burst into bloom. Both Daisy and Buttercup were much in evidence, as were the small blue gem-like flowers of Germander Speedwell. Nearby, along the footpath to the High Street, there was a lovely clump of bluish-white Comfrey - Andy M.
