Village walk - birds and flowes

David F took a walk along the Old Railway Cutting today, and noted a good number of birds: many Blackcap, a couple of Common Whitethroat, a Yellowhammer, Blue Tit and Great Tit, Robin, Dunnock, Song Thrush, Blackbird, but surprisingly no singing Chiffchaff.

As well as seeing a Muntjac, David also noted a few flowers starting to come out, in particular, a
Poppy, and White Campion, and near GA Church an interesting wild flower meadow full of Red Campion and White Campion, and Oxeye Daisy alongside the A1307.

Emma J also noted a first Poppy flower out in her glasshouse on Friday 8th - impeccible timing for the VE Day commemoration!
