An unusual garden visitor

Early one morning last week, Andy M spotted an unusual visitor to his garden - a Moorhen - padding around on the lawn for a while before, rather clumsily, flying up onto the fence and over the top!  

Perhaps not such an astounding bird, but the first to visit his garden in some twenty years.  It must have travelled quite some distance from the nearest water too - maybe encouraged to explore following all the recent rain!
