A different type of Beefly

On 31st March, Anne D-N spotted a small black 'bee' in her garden, darting around the White Dead-nettle flower.  It looked exactly like a Beefly, moving with a fast purposeful flight, with its wings just seemed to be a rapid blur, and with a long proboscis.
Whilst not certain of the exact species, there are a number of different Beefly species in the UK, in addition to the more usual Dark-winged Beefly.
