News. First Swift of the season seen.

Maggie Turner reported seeing Swifts flying over St Mary's Church in Great Abington today - the first report in the village this season!  It seems possible that these birds are passing through though, en route to other places further north, since Maggie's feeling was that the Swift that normally breed here, tend to arrive one or two weeks later than this.
