Jennifer managed to photograph this lovely big buff tailed bumble bee; she thinks (from the size) that it's probably a queen .

Newtlet in the High Street

Jennifer took this fine photo in her garden. It is thought to be a newtlet - note the warty skin rather than scaley, four (?) toes on front legs (lizards have 5).
